Berry Patch Sock

The secret knitting project for Christmas was a pair of socks for a friend. Unfortunately I did not get them finished in time for our Christmas Eve gift exchange so I had to give her a gift of a single sock, with a promise to finish the second sock soon. I finished the second sock on Monday and it is now ready to join its other half.

The sock was made from KnitPicks Stroll Hand Painted yarn, in the Berry Patch colour. This is a great yarn, very soft yet still durable enough for socks. The colours are gorgeous and I love the Berry Patch colour, but sadly it is a discontinued shade that is no longer available.

The pattern for the socks is one I made up with a simple 4x2 rib.
